5. Doctrinal Orientation
A. Definition: Doctrinal orientation is the function of post-salvation epistemological rehabilitation that results in three categories of confidence related to the Christian way of life, namely, confidence that God will save you if you believe the Gospel, confidence that you can become a mature believer and be blessed in time if you believe and practice the mystery doctrines of the Church Age, and confidence that you will receive rewards in eternity for having believed and practiced the mystery doctrines of the Church Age.

C. Problem Solved: Solves the problem of no hope (no confident assurance) at three spiritual levels while living the Christian way of life.
1) No hope as an unbeliever.
2) No hope as an immature believer.
3) No hope as a mature believer.
D. How does doctrinal orientation solve the problem of no hope at three spiritual levels while living the Christian way of life?
1) As an unbeliever: The unbeliever is offered confident assurance of eternal salvation if he or she will only believe the Gospel.
· Acts 16:31 - And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. (KJV)
2) As an immature believer: The immature believer is offered confident assurance of attaining spiritual maturity and being blessed in time for utilizing the invisible assets and problem solving devices offered by God to the advancing believer.
3) As a mature believer: The mature believer is offered through the eschatological truths of God's Word confident assurance of attaining rewards in eternity.
